But, who better than former A-League star, Jake Barker-Daish, to take you through what he thinks of the upcoming EPL season.

Check out all our soccer tips below:

Top Teams in the EPL

Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man United, Chelsea and Newcastle

My top teams above all have made big signings in the window to bolster their respective squads. Every squad outside of Man City has signed players to close the gap between the league leaders and have done some great business which will help their cause for a push to the top four if not higher.

Man City are still the team to catch but Liverpool and Arsenal have signed extremely well and spent money. Man United have made moves which will excite fans, but they may still need another striker like a Harry Kane to compete with the league leaders.

Newcastle could be impacted by having more games next season in the Champions League, but they have been so impressive in pre-season and of course last season. Chelsea now has the right manager to steer a big and talented squad in a direction we are accustomed to seeing Chelsea in. It is going to be a big, busy and relentless season. I truly cannot wait.

Bottom Teams in the EPL

Wolverhampton, Luton Town and Sheffield United

Wolverhampton is a bottom team for reasons maybe beyond my knowledge but put it this way it's never a good sign when manager Julen Lopetegui leaves the club the week leading into the season. That makes me think the club is unsettled and there is a disagreement on a high level at the club which will impact players and their performances. Wolves need to start well or else they will be chasing from the early rounds.

Luton Town could be a surprise package, but it is a miracle that Luton are in the Premier League. I think when you come into the Premier League you need to almost spend $100 million just to fight to stay in it because the jump from Championship to Premiership is that big. I don’t think Luton have done enough in the window and I think they could be the easiest games for teams in the Premier League this season (if there is an easy one).

Sheffield United I am putting in the same category as Luton, it is such a big ask to come up, perform and stay up. I think even Sheffield fans are nervous about this season and I see them struggling to grab points away from home. Home advantage is where they will need to accumulate but I see every other team being too strong. My smokey to go down – Crystal Palace. Zaha a huge loss and minimal big signings have come in.

Who Will Win the EPL?

Man City have all the reasons to do what no team has done before and win four in a row. However, I think Arsenal has had the best transfer window and have closed the gap as much as they could to Sky Blue. The Gunners have spent big and now have the experience of last season falling short which should help provide them with more intelligence on how to close the season out.

It could be a two-horse race again and I want to say City, but I think Ilkay Gundogan is a bigger loss than people think which brings Arsenal right to the forefront of this conversation. Arsenal to win it and Liverpool as my smokey bet here.
