Free Horse Racing Tips Today For 12/08/2023

Horse racing tips incoming! Dabble’s very own The Mock Sports have broken down the racing for this Saturday. Searching high and low, they’ve found our loyal Dabblers the top three horse racing bets of the day. They’ve done all the hard work for you finding the best horse racing tips, so you don’t even have to lift a finger – how nice is that?!

Without further ado, see The Mock Sports’ best bet, next best and value bet from around the grounds this Saturday:

Best Bet - 5. Wineglass Bay ($1.80) – Rosehill, Race 3

This horse has to be the straight bat option for the day at Rosehill. He is a horse that I think is above the BM78 level but has constantly been stuck there after getting unlucky most starts. This is the race for him to break through.

He gets blinkers on now and will be peaking in fitness and James McDonald is starting to find his form again as a rider, so I expect nothing but a strong run here. The play would surely be to sit just off the pack in transit and blow them away down the straight.

Next Best - 2. Pericles ($2.90) - Rosehill, Race 9

The blue army will be launching a full-on assault attack on the Spring Carnival this year and this horse could potentially be one of the leading generals of said attack. He was a horse that I feel got placed in all the wrong races in the Autumn as his main focus was staying races since he targeted the Derby.

But I think that 1400-1800m is his sweet spot, not the 2000m+, so I am not at all worried in this sharp drop in distance. He will have a target on his back, but he is head and shoulder above the rest of the field class-wise, so I am happy to back him in.

Value Bet - 6. Infatuation ($20 / $4.20) - Rosehill, Race 8

All the chatter around the town about this race, the first of a few key lead ups to the Golden Rose, has been about Cigar Flick and Tiz Invincible. However, I am looking elsewhere. Infatuation is a know what you’re going to get sot of horse and I like those sorts of horses as they often come away with an honest effort and little excuses.

But I have heard that after her last start, which was poor, I will admit, she pulled up a bit sick and wasn’t really at her very best. She’s now rested, recovered, drawn excellently and gets back onto her preferred dry deck after being stuck in the softs for a while. I think she can be an excellent each-way play at value.

And just like that – you've got three awesome tips. Isn’t that awesomely awesome? Yeah, we think so! We love that you love horse racing, and if you want to join other people who also think horse racing is the bees-knees, then look no further than Dabble’s Banter channel, dedicated solely to horse racing.
