Free Harness Racing Tips Today For 23/08/2023

Harness racing tips incoming! Dabble’s very own Tim O'Connor has broken down the racing for this Wednesday. Searching high and low, he has found our loyal Dabblers the top three harness racing bets of the day. He's done all the hard work for you finding the best harness racing tips, so you don’t even have to lift a finger – how nice is that?!

Without further ado, see Tim O'Connor's best bet, next best and value bet from around the grounds this Wednesday:

Best Bet – 8. Impulsive George ($3.20) - Melton, Race 1

It's the third and final night of the FastTrack 1200 series and I'm with Andy and Kate Gath to kick-start the night with a bang. Impulsive George has run over the 1200m dash the past two Wednesday nights and his effort when third to Spun Silver last week was off the charts.

He came from well back in the field and savaged the line, taking big ground off the eventually winner. Despite the wide barrier, he strikes a very winnable race here and has come up a backable price at better than $3.00.

Next Best – 2. Jeremy Lou ($2.10) - Melton, Race 3

Julian Attard's pacer doesn't have great form by any means, but this is a weak 1200m race and he will only have to go somewhere near his efforts at the trials to pinch this. Jeremy Lou was stood down following an issue when last of 10 at Yarra Valley on July 17, and has since performed very admirably with a win and a second placing during hit-outs at Melton.

He led and won a trial on August 1 and then was only run down by Beach Hopper in good time on August 7. Beach Hopper was certainly a very good winner of a 1200m race last week if you remember!

Value Bet – 5. Jekamias ($10 / $3.00) - Melton, Race 6

The value of the night comes from Race 6 at Melton. Yes, the red-hot favourite Oorah was extremely impressive in his debut win here two weeks ago, but I'm taking him on with Jodi Quinlan's four-year-old tonight.

Jekamias was back and wide but hit the line nicely for third behind Bolramski in a 1200m race here seven days ago, with his closing splits very good for a race like this. I'll be having something the win at $10, but more the place for him to finish top two at $3.00.
