Best Bet - 1. Crackerjack Aret ($2.70) - Sandown, Race 3
Smashed the clock in a big win last time out at Horsham. Mustered quickly off the inside draw and gapped them down the back straight before working through the line strongly. Expect a similar showing here in the Cup Prelude off the inside draw. Looks very hard to beat.
Next Best - 1. Victa Damian ($1.80) - Sandown, Race 8
Made good ground down the back straight before chiming in on the home bend and driving through in the straight for a dominant win at this track and trip last start. He needs to step away reasonably cleanly here from an inside draw but should prove too strong for them over the final stages.
Value Bet - 8. Keisha ($5.00 / $1.80) - Sandown, Race 12
Nice win out of the 8 box last start at Bendigo when she was able to find the front by the first bend. Comes to Sandown for the first time but gets the same draw as last time out and has enough dash to put herself in the race around the tighter circuit. If she can do that first time out of the straight, she’ll be hard to hold out.
