Horse racing tips incoming! Dabble’s very own The Mock Sports has broken down the card at Randwick this Saturday, which includes four key races, $20M The Everest, the $5M George Main Stakes (King Charles III Stakes), $2M The Kosciuszko and $1M The Silver Eagle. Best Bet - 2. Mr Brightside ($2.15) - Randwick, Race 9
How does this horse not win on the weekend? This is perhaps the most stacked field that has been produced on any card anywhere in the country this year and it should be wide open. However, Mr Brightside looks to rip the crown away from the void left by Anamoe and stamp himself as Australia’s best horse. He is a mile specialist; one just has to look at the last 2 times he was in Sydney over the mile with 2 straight Doncaster wins. Yeah, he’s that good. He’s flying, he should stalk the leaders and go past them in the final stages.
Next Best - 2. Private Eye ($6.50 / $2.40) - Randwick, Race 7
The Everest, the race that is talked about constantly all year until the jump, where we pause for 120 seconds to watch the breathtaking action, before immediately going back to discussing what just happened and looking forward to next year. Private Eye for me in this year’s edition. Was 2nd in last year’s race and that was a much harder field than this, he has also already managed to beat a few of his competitors when he smashed them first up. Barrier a small query, but he can get the job done even if he does find himself wide without cover. Go the boy in black and green!
Value Bet - 8. Mogo Magic ($8.00 / $2.75) - Randwick, Race 5
The Kosciuszko, The Everest for the country horses. Always fun, always entertaining. We think we have found a horse that is way overlooked by the market quite honestly. Has never lost a race or a trial in his life and they are often gap jobs where there are no competitors in sight. We think he comes out here and wins, potentially with a leg in the air, we haven’t been this confident in a horse paying this big in a long time.
