Horse racing tips incoming! Dabble’s very own The Mock Sports has broken down the card at Randwick this Saturday, which includes three Group 1s, the $1.5M Epsom Handicap, the $750K Flight Stakes and the $750K Metropolitan Handicap. Without further ado, see The Mock Sports’ best bet, next best and value bet for the card at Randwick:
Best Bet - 2. Kimochi ($5.00) - Randwick, Race 6
First bet comes in the first Group 1 of the day with Kimochi. I love the way this filly goes about her business and quite honestly, I think it is crazy she hasn’t won a race this prep. She is constantly coming up just short because she runs out of ground with her thunderous chase after hitting the switch down the straight. Out to the mile now which should suit her perfectly. She is the only one I see turning the tables on the field favourite.
Next Best - 10. Kovalica ($8.50 / $2.90) - Randwick, Race 8
Chris Waller has dominated the Epsom in recent times, and I think he will chalk up another win here with boom horse Kovalica. First up run is a forgive, he was there purely for fitness, the 1600m+ range is more his go. He seems to tick every box for this race, ideal draw, in form jockey, undefeated at the distance and undefeated 2nd up as well. All signs are pointing to a strong run, so I want to be on him in the big one!
Value Bet - 3. Cleveland ($23 / $5.00) - Randwick, Race 9
First off, all things considered, Just Fine should be winning this race with a leg in the air. He is just an absolute machine. However, $1.50 in a capacity field of stayers? No thank you, I will rather look for some value and I think I have found it in Cleveland. He is an out and out stayer who can go with the best of them. We have yet to really see him open up due to some injuries and poor rides, but Damien Oliver will be giving him every chance to cause a boil over here. He will slot in somewhere amongst the pack and burst clear late and find his way at least into the placings, making this each-way play well worth it.
