Best Bet - 5. Summerbeel ($2.50) - Race 3, 3YO & Up The Mystic Journey
This mare is flying, has won two on the bounce, including this track and distance last start, and I thought it bolted in here last start. Draw is fine to go forward and dictate. Up in grade but drops 5kgs off the back. Blake Shinn on is a plus, weighted well.
Next Best - 2. In The Boat ($4.00) - Race 6, Listed Abell Stakes
Just thrives here, two wins from two attempts at this track and distance. First up record is ok, this looks a good race to kick off his campaign with a win. There’s plenty of speed so if he has to sit that’s fine. I think he’s too good.
Value Bet - 1. Khoekhoe ($6.00 / $2.25) - Race 10, BM80 Country Mile Series Final
My value bet rounds out The Valley card, finds a tricky race but he’s overs, the last win was huge with that weight. Meets British Columbia 2.5kgs worse than last start but draws the paint and should find the front pretty easily, will be hard to catch in the short home straight.
