Is it a treble type of season for Manchester City? I think this game will dictate whether it is or is not. Manchester United are a difficult opponent and will probably be a more difficult match than Inter Milan in the Champions League Final for City with the derby fire always bringing these teams closer together with the rivalry.
No doubt City has more quality and will have more possession in the game which should give them the right of way to win this game and push for the trophy. Manchester United with Casemiro, Rashford and an in-form Fernandes will be the players Pep Guardiola will be focusing in on limiting as all three are pivotal to United’s success in big games. I think City will edge the tie in a close one with De Bruyne making the difference with his distribution and creativity for the likes of Grealish and Haaland.

My pick is 2-1 to Manchester City given it’s a final, these games always seem to be a bit more cagey and I feel Manchester United have a lot of firepower which could see them break down Manchester City in the game at least once. The brilliant midfield of City with Gundogan and Rodri should keep control of the game allowing the likes of Bernardo, Haaland and Grealish to have plenty of opportunities in front of goal along with the best number ten in England Kevin De Bruyne.

Bruno Fernandes is in serious form scoring goals across the majority of Manchester United’s end of season games. He will be full of confidence and could be the man pivotal to giving Manchester United an edge in the game. His goals against Chelsea and Fulham were full of class and if a chance in front of goal comes, he has the form to finish it. It would be ignorant of us though to ignore the great Erling Haaland who I think could be the most likely for City with his physicality and presence in the box, he will no doubt be near the goals in the FA Cup Final.

Kevin De Bruyne always seems to score goals for City in its biggest games which is why I feel this game is made for him to get on the scoresheet. We have already seen it this season against Real Madrid and the critical game in the Premier League against Arsenal where the Belgian's class comes out on show. A problem from set pieces, outside the box and his late runs into the box are area’s Manchester United need to look out for in this game.
