Check out all our expert NRL tips for Round 3 below:

Game 1 – Manly Sea Eagles vs Parramatta Eels, Thursday 16th March, 8pm

Manly are coming off the bye so they should be a little fresher than Parramatta. At this stage the Eels are down a couple of forwards still which doesn’t help. Although they didn’t look too bad against Cronulla last week only going down by four points. Manly are hard to beat at home, and Daley Cheery Evans was on fire in Round 1.

Expert NRL Tip: Handicap – Sea Eagles

Game 2 – Newcastle Knights vs Dolphins, Friday 17th March, 6pm

The Knights hung on against the Tigers in the last Round, whereas the Dolphins proved their Round 1 win was no fluke by winning again last time out. The Knights have got a few out this week with suspension and injuries. The Dolphins are without their hooker Jeremy Marshall King who’s a key loss. But I think they should still beat they Knights.

Expert NRL Tip: Handicap - Dolphins

Game 3 – Sydney Roosters vs South Sydney Rabbitohs, Friday 17th March, 8pm

What a cracker this will be. If you remember last year, they don’t like each other these two clubs. This game always fires up Mitchell, and hopefully it will translate to a try or two. This is the game of the round and a must watch, no matter who your team is.

Expert NRL Tip: Anytime Try Scorer – Latrell Mitchell

Game 4 – Gold Coast Titans vs Melbourne Storm, Saturday 18th March, 3pm

Down on troops the Storm, and they will respond to that ordinary performance against the Dogs. So, I’m tipping the Titans in a little upset at home. The Titans didn’t really show up in their clash against the Dragons in the previous round lossing 32-18, but then again, the Storm didn’t show up either losing 26-12 to the Bulldogs.

Expert NRL Tip: Match Winner - Titans

Game 5 – North Queensland Cowboys vs New Zealand Warriors, Saturday 18th March, 5.30pm

The Cowboys will be without Scott Drinkwater and Peta Hikau, but they should account for the Warriors. The Cowboys started off strong against the Broncos in the previous round, with a try in the 4th minute, but things went downhill from there, and they ended up losing 28-16. The Warriors were no match for the Roosters in Round 2, and will be looking to bounce back on Saturday.

Expert NRL Tip: Halftime-Fulltime – Cowboys

Game 6 – Brisbane Broncos vs St George Illawarra Dragons, Saturday 18th March, 7.35pm

Ben Hunt was best on ground for the Dragons last week, and would love to beat his old team. But I can’t see it this time around. The Broncos are off to a great start to the season, beating the Panthers (by 1 point) and the Cowboys. The Dragons has their first game of the season in Round 2, and they played well against the Titans.

Expert NRL Tip: Halftime-Fulltime – Broncos

Game 7 – Canterbury Bulldogs vs Wests Tigers, Sunday 19th March, 4.05pm

Can the Dogs back up their good win against the Storm? I think they can. The Bulldogs provided the shock of Round 2 when they played very well to beat the Storm. They will now face the Tigers, who are at the bottom of the ladder. Two very poor performances from the Tigers to start the season, against opponents that they actually stood a chance to beat.

Expert NRL Tip: Handicap - Bulldogs

Game 8 – Canberra Raiders vs Cronulla Sharks, Sunday 19th March, 6.15pm

I’m tipping a little upset here. It should be tight, but the Raiders have been beaten by only 1 point and 6 points in both games. The Sharks were beaten by the Rabbitohs in the first round, and then they beat the Eels in Round 2. Could be a close game, but there won’t be many points on offer.

Expert NRL Tip: Total Points - Under
