Check out all our expert NRL tips for Round 19 below:

Game 1 – Wests Tigers vs Cronulla Sharks, Thursday 6th July, 7.50pm

A short turnaround may be a blessing for the poor battered Tigers – surely the only way is up after last weekend’s disastrous 74-0 loss to the Cowboys. But the Sharks are a team capable of scoring plenty of points with a slick backline that oozes pace and class. I like the Sharks 13 plus.

Game 2 – St. George Illawarra Dragons vs Canberra Raiders, Friday 7th July, 8pm

The Dragons are another team counting the days until the season ends and without Ben Hunt, it’s hard to see them putting up much of a fight against the in-form Raiders. Canberra have lost their energiser bunny, Corey Horsburgh to Origin, but I still see another 13 plus here to Canberra.

Game 3 – Parramatta Eels vs New Zealand Warriors, Saturday 8th July, 5.30pm

This game has lost some of its appeal with the Eels missing Origin selections King Gutho, Mitch Moses, J'maine Hopgood and Reagan Campbell-Gillard. The Warriors went back to their old ways with a poor loss to Souths last weekend, but I can see them coming out on top this game – I like an anytime try to in-form hooker Wayde Egan.

Game 4 – South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Canterbury Bulldogs, Saturday 8th July, 7.35pm

The Bulldogs need a bit of luck – and they have got it taking on Souths this week with the Rabbitohs missing half their team through Origin, injury and suspension. The Bunnies were great in Auckland last weekend, but this game will really test their depth and resolve. The Dogs were awful against Newcastle last weekend but with all the key Souths players missing, I like the Dogs +8.5 on the Dabble app.

Game 5 – Gold Coast Titans vs Dolphins, Sunday 9th July, 4.05pm

The Dolphins have really found the going tough in recent weeks after a great start to the year, with injuries and Origin testing the strength of their squad. Both teams are missing key men through Origin, and I have no idea who will win but I like a Jeremy Marshall-King anytime try – if he is passed fit – his form has been great all season.
