Check out all our expert NRL tips for Round 14 below:

Game 1 – Wests Tigers vs Canberra Raiders, Friday 2nd June, 8pm

The big question here is – will the Raiders’ decision to rest skipper Jarrod Croker so he can play his 300th game in Canberra next week come back to bite them? Tigers coach Tim Sheens will tell his players they are being ‘disrespected’ - and plenty will agree. At Campbelltown, the rejuvenated Tigers can’t be overlooked, but Canberra have won six in a row and look too strong in the forwards. I’m taking the Raiders to cover the 3.5 start on the Dabble app.

Expert NRL Tip: Handicap – Raiders

Game 2 – New Zealand Warriors vs Dolphins, Saturday 3rd June, 3pm

The Warriors tend to do well around Origin time as they are unaffected by the big games and have a great chance to knock off the Dolphins at home. But the Warriors were very poor against a weakened Broncos team last week and the Dolphins just keep finding ways to win games and stay in the top eight. I like Jeremy Marshall-King for an anytime try – his form has been superb.

Expert NRL Tip: Anytime Try Scorer – Jeremy Marshall-King

Game 3 – Gold Coast Titans vs South Sydney Rabbitohs, Saturday 3rd June, 5.30pm

The Bunnies have hit the wall, with back-to-back losses after a six-game winning run and coach Jason Demetriou will be desperate to avoid a third straight defeat on the Goldy. The Titans have the firepower to worry most teams in the NRL but have lacked consistency over the 80 minutes in recent seasons. With that in mind, I think Souths can cover the 6.5 points start – even without Latrell who is likely to be out.

Expert NRL Tip: Handicap – Rabbitohs

Game 4 – Cronulla Sharks vs Brisbane Broncos, Saturday 3rd June, 7.35pm

With a host of players backing up from Origin, the Broncos will be vulnerable in what shapes as the game of the round at Shark Park. Brisbane were rank outsiders with their Baby Broncos side in Auckland last week yet got the job done against the Warriors – despite a late scare – but I reckon the Sharks -2.5 at home is the value bet of the round.

Expert NRL Tip: Handicap – Sharks

Game 5 – Sydney Roosters vs Canterbury Bulldogs, Sunday 4th June, 2pm

It’s time for the Roosters to step up – who would have guessed that at the halfway mark of the season they would be out of the top eight and scored the least points of any team in the NRL? And this Bulldogs team, while they haven’t quite lived up to the hype this season, has the aggression and speed to worry the Roosters. Given both teams’ attacking problems this year, I think unders is the way to go here.

Expert NRL Tip: Total Points – Under

Game 6 – North Queensland Cowboys vs Melbourne Storm, Sunday 4th June, 4.05pm

This game shapes as D-Day for the Cowboys – another loss would make it very hard to reach the finals whereas a win over the strong Storm outfit would do wonders for their confidence and position on the ladder. Craig Bellamy usually rests one or two of his big guns after Origin, but I think the Storm will win the game. Although, the Cowboys are a good chance at +6.5 points.

Expert NRL Tip: Handicap – Cowboys

Game 7 – Penrith Panthers vs St. George Illawarra Dragons, Sunday 4th June, 6,15pm

It’s been the season from hell for the Dragons, but fortune has smiled on them as they meet the Panthers at the best possible time – after half their team have played in Origin One. Ben Hunt is the key to an upset – if he backs up from Origin then the Dragons are a chance. But you have to go with the Panthers at home, even given they will be bruised and battered, and I can see a high scoring affair – go with the overs.

Expert NRL Tip: Total Points – Over
