Check out all our expert NRL tips for Round 10 below:

Game 1 – Canterbury Bulldogs vs Canberra Raiders, Friday 5th May, 6pm

The Bulldogs won't make the finals but are already proving themselves a nuisance team for those teams that are in the hunt. For that reason, this shapes as a real danger game for the Raiders to kick off Magic Round on Friday night. Despite a raft of injuries, the Bulldogs scored a fine win over the Dragons last weekend and will worry the Raiders with their enthusiasm. Canberra got out of jail against the Dolphins with a field goal last week and I think they might just overcome the -3.5 points start.

Expert NRL Tip: Handicap - Raiders

Game 2 – Manly Sea Eagles vs Brisbane Broncos, Friday 5th May, 8.05pm

Although this should be a home game for the Sea Eagles, they have lucked out, taking on Brisbane at Suncorp in what will in effect be a Brisbane home game. Both teams were awful last week – Manly were given a reality check by the Titans while the Broncos were humbled by Souths. Tom Trbojevic is back for the Sea Eagles but whether he can last the distance remains to be seen. The Broncos should win and win well, and I like Dabble’s SGM special of Broncos -10.5, Cobbo and Arthars to score a try each at $3.60.

Expert NRL Tip: SGM – Broncos -10.5, Cobbo & Arthars 1+ Try Each

Game 3 – New Zealand Warriors vs Penrith Panthers, Saturday 6th May, 3pm

Both last-up losers have some key players coming back on deck - Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad and Tohu Harris for the Warriors and James Fisher-Harris and Spencer Leniu for the Panthers. Ivan Cleary will be after a huge improvement after last week’s stunning loss to the Tigers and I think his team will rise to the occasion. Panthers to cover the -11.5 spread.

Expert NRL Tip: Margin - Panthers

Game 4 – Cronulla Sharks vs Dolphins, Saturday 6th May, 5.30pm

The Sharks are entitled to be firm $1.38 favourites for this one, but the Dolphins are the team that just refuse to die. In the past fortnight they have come back from 26-0 down to beat the Titans and taken the Raiders to golden point. So, this could be closer than the bookies think but I like a Ronaldo Mulitalo anytime try scorer option. The Sharks play to his wing and anywhere near the try line, he is deadly.

Expert NRL Tip: Anytime Try Scorer – Ronaldo Mulitalo

Game 5 – Melbourne Storm vs South Sydney Rabbitohs, Saturday 6th May, 7.45pm

This shapes as the game of the round with the Storm fresh from a week off against the in-form Bunnies. Melbourne has been up and down this season but tends to lift against the good teams and they will be up for the Latrell Mitchell-led Rabbitohs. Both teams love to attack but are also great at last ditch defense and that’s why I’m going for the under 41.5 points option.

Expert NRL Tip: Total Points – Under

Game 6 – Wests Tigers vs St. George Illawarra Dragons, Sunday 7th May, 1.50pm

The battle for the wooden spoon comes very early in the season – but what contrasting moods in the two camps. The Tigers produced the ambush of the decade to beat Penrith last week while the Dragons were out-enthused by an injury-ravaged Bulldogs team. On paper, the Dragons have the better team and I can’t see the Tigers being so pumped up two weeks in a row. Dragons at $1.72 in a game the bookies have rated an even money affair.

Expert NRL Tip: Match Winner – Dragons

Game 7 – Sydney Roosters vs North Queensland Cowboys, Sunday 7th May, 4pm

The Cowboys have been a major disappointment this season and are still licking their wounds from a mauling at Cronulla last weekend. The Roosters have been a little up and down this season but came up with an impressive 14-0 shutout in Auckland last weekend and are heading into Magic Round in good form. With strike players in all the right positions, the Roosters should win and win well, and I like them with a half time / full time double on the Dabble app.

Expert NRL Tip: Half time / Full time – Roosters

Game 8 – Gold Coast Titans vs Parramatta Eels, Sunday 7th May, 6.25pm

In an unpredictable competition, the Titans are one of the most unpredictable teams in the league. When they are bad, they are very bad. When they are good, they score tries from anywhere on the field and can beat anyone as they showed in a shock win at Manly last weekend – the Sea Eagles’ first loss at home this season. Can they beat a Parramatta team who on their day are as good as any in the league in attack? The game should be a beauty with plenty of fast open football if the conditions are good and I like the over 48.5 option.

Expert NRL Tip: Total Points – Over
