Finally the NFL is around the corner!
AFC East: Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills are Super Bowl favourites this year after getting pipped by OT rules essentially last year! So they will win this division and should do it easily. The Dolphins will be exciting to watch in this division but they’re not in the same league as the Bills.
NFC East: Dallas Cowboys
This division has been very weak the past few years, but in saying that I’m expecting the Cowboys to really give this competition a good shake this year. The Eagles will be a danger with A.J. Brown joining the team, but I like the direction of the Cowboys and where they’re going.
AFC North: Baltimore Ravens
Now this is one of the toughest decisions you’ll make, especially with Joe Burrow and the Bengals in this division. But we all know Lamar Jackson and the Ravens copped it with injuries to their running backs last pre-season, so I’m expecting them to be the best defensive team and the hardest team to play against all year. The Bengals were an outlier last year for me and I think they’re a couple years off still.
NFC North: Minnesota Vikings
This will be a huge shock to the system leaving out the Packers, but I can’t see them being as good this year. The Packers have lost the greatest WR in the NFL in Davante Adams and also lost their deep threat in Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Who is Aaron Rodgers going to pass the ball to? The Vikings have a new scheme and also have the two biggest offensive weapons in the whole competition - Justin Jefferson and Dalvin Cook are absolute STUDS! I think this is my biggest value in all the divisions. Huge call I know but it’s time for a new Division leader.
NFC South: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If Tom Brady is coming out of retirement it means he still believes they can win the whole damn competition! The Saints are building nicely and have some great recruits joining them as the danger team. Jarvis Landry at WR joins the team plus Tyrann Mathieu at Safety will help. Oh, and don’t forget about Michael Thomas who will line up at wide out from Week 1. The Buccaneers have amazing defence and I still think they’ll lead the division this year! TB12 = GOAT.
NFC West: LA Rams
There is talk of back to back! I can’t see them getting beaten in their own division so they’ll go in with great confidence! The San Francisco 49ers have a young QB so I believe they’re going to struggle at times from a lack of experience, but I’m very excited by their team. Arizona has no DeAndre Hopkins early in the year so I can’t see them being too much of a threat. Look out for a bloke called Allen Robinson from the Rams who plays WR. He will have a monster year!
AFC West: LA Chargers
Now I know a few of you Kansas City Chiefs fans are going WTF how can you leave the Chiefs out??? I’ll tell you why! Chiefs have lost Tyreek Hill and their Safety Tyrann Mathieu. The Chargers have added J.C. Jackson and Khalil Mack, signed Mike Williams to a contract extension, their QB might win MVP, Keenan Allen is a stud! And Austin Ekeler is probably the 3rd best Back in the league! Good luck stopping the Chargers this year, honestly.
AFC South: Indianapolis Colts
I think they’re the best bet of the year! The Titans have lost A.J. Brown, Julio Jones at WR, and Derrick Henry is back after being sidelined with a foot injury. He will need to run through walls all year because they’ve got very little at the Receiver position. The Colts have the best running back in the game, Jonathan Taylor, and have just thrown old head Matty Ryan at QB to settle the nerves and help them win. I love the Colts this year and believe they’re looking amazing on both sides of the ball.
