Harness racing tips incoming! Dabble’s very own Tim O'Connor has broken down the racing for this Saturday. Searching high and low, they’ve found our loyal Dabblers the top three harness racing bets of the day. They’ve done all the hard work for you finding the best harness racing tips, so you don’t even have to lift a finger – how nice is that?!
Without further ado, see Tim O'Connor's best bet, next best and value bet from around the grounds this Saturday:
Best Bet - 5. Dannemora ($1.45) - Bendigo, Race 4
I know you're probably thinking Dannemora is too short, but I'm hopeful she might drift a bit closer to start time and really think she will be winning. This horse has been a revelation since arriving from New Zealand to join the powerful Emma Stewart barn, with six-straight wins at odds-on quotes.
And while she hasn't beaten any stars yet, the way she has won her races suggests there's plenty more to come and I expect her to be very competitive in a Vicbred Super Series for four-year-old mares later in the year. Dannemora finds herself in another suitable race at Bendigo this Saturday night and hopefully you will be smiling if you've backed her straight out or taken her in multis.
Next Best - 9. Bettor Isolate ($2.00) - Bendigo, Race 5
Have followed this bloke's progress since his early days and he looks a Group 1 winner in the making. Bettor Isolate caught the attention of many with a stunning finale when third to Hurricane Harley back in early June and then produced similar closing sectionals when fourth to last weekend's best bet Mach Dan. He meets a much easier field than he has in recent times this Saturday night at Bendigo and from gate nine he should be close enough to zip straight past them in the home straight.
Value Bet - 2. Dhaulagiri ($9.00) - Bendigo, Race 1
Following the Dannemora form with the Julie Douglas-prepared Dhaulagiri, who is banging the door down to win a race. He savaged the line and produced the best closing quarters when second to Dannemora at Maryborough last time out, and rattled home for fourth behind the smart Roarforroscoe (well fancied in this same race) at Melton before that. He draws well here and looks a great each-way play to kick-start the night at Lord's Raceway.
And just like that – you've got three awesome tips. Isn’t that awesomely awesome? Yeah, we think so! We love that you love harness racing, and if you want to join other people who also think harness racing is the bees-knees, then look no further than Dabble’s Banter channel, here you can talk about harness racing until your heart's content.
