Harness racing tips incoming! Dabble’s very own Tim O'Connor has broken down the racing for this Wednesday. Searching high and low, they’ve found our loyal Dabblers the top three harness racing bets of the day. They’ve done all the hard work for you finding the best harness racing tips, so you don’t even have to lift a finger – how nice is that?!
Without further ado, see Tim O'Connor's best bet, next best and value bet from around the grounds this Wednesday:
Best Bet - 6. Whiskey Cavalier ($1.70) - Ballarat, Race 8
There's a few concerns around how this guy handles the Ballarat circuit given his wayward effort when he last appeared here back in January, but Whiskey Cavalier looks clearly the class runner in the eighth event on the card.
Andy Gath's pacer was climbing over their backs in a fast last half at Melton last weekend and got very close to the Group 1 winner Captain Bellasatio two starts before that.
The free-rolling El Boston should ensure a strong tempo at the top tonight and I'm confident Whiskey Cavalier can storm over the top to close out the Ballarat Quaddie.
Next Best - 1. Snazola ($8.00 / $2.65) - Ballarat, Race 3
Can be fraught with danger these low-grade races, but I really liked what I saw from Snazola last start when she took on three rivals that reoppose here this evening.
She was sent forward from a wide front row gate on October 26 but couldn’t cross, with Leilani Justice forced all the way back to last before driving up along the pegs. Despite this early burn, the horse was still competitive and only faded late to be beaten just over 10m by Icanmotor, who is well-fancied in the market here.
Gate one is a huge plus for Snazola tonight and I reckon she will run a good race in similar company to a week ago. I'll be playing small the win and bigger the place (despite only two dividends).
Value Bet - 11. La Belle Bijoux ($7.50 / $2.30) - Ballarat, Race 7
Liked the way this mare returned to the races, with a slick finale from last for fourth at Maryborough back on October 22.
La Belle Bijoux clocked some good closing splits in a race that was just a dash home and she can threaten at good each-way odds this evening.
The five-year-old will need a hotter tempo to win over the sprint trip tonight, but I'm confident she will get her chance given some key rivals are drawn with her on the back row.
And just like that – you've got three awesome harness racing tips. Isn’t that awesomely awesome? Yeah, we think so!
