Check out all our expert AFL tips for Round 7 below:

Game 1 – St Kilda Saints vs Port Adelaide Power, Friday 28th April, 7.50pm

Oh, when the Saints, go marching in, oh when the Saints go marching ON...to another rock-solid performance and win. Credit where credit is due, and I put my hand up to say I never saw this coming. Playing good discipline footy which is helping to feed their offensive game. Port cruised over the Eagles and look to get some players back. It's not a blockbuster Friday night clash but nevertheless will be a good close game.

Expert AFL Tip: Winning Margin – Saints 22+

Game 2 – Brisbane Lions vs Fremantle Dockers, Saturday 29th April, 1.45pm

I said it before and I'll say it again, the Lions forward six, if they work together, is the most dangerous six in the competition. On the other hand, we have a team that can't really score that easily and definitely not defending that well, which can lead to only one thing. Lions at home a very comfortable victory and Dockers still searching for answers.

Expert AFL Tip: To Kick 3+ Goals – Joe Daniher

Game 3 – Sydney Swans vs Greater Western Sydney Giants, Saturday 29th April, 2.10pm

I have played in the once touted “Battle of the Bridge” and boy have there been some cracking games, I feel this one is going to be very similar. Swans are depleted with injuries at the moment and after holding on for a few weeks the bubble burst on the weekend against the Cats. I've been saying it for about 3 weeks now, the Giants are playing some really good footy without getting wins but this week a four-quarter effort I feel the hard work will pay off.

Expert AFL Tip: To Get 30+ Disposals – Tom Green

Game 4 – Western Bulldogs vs Hawthorn Hawks, Saturday 29th April, 4.35pm

Is it turning for the Dogs? Is this tall forward line combination finally starting to click? Can the Bont continue his unbelievable early season form? Are they a genuine finals contender? Yes, yes, yes and I'll wait on that one. They looked very good last week in the west JUH looked sharp as a lead up CHF. The Hawks tried hard down in Tassie to be pipped late but that’s as expected as the result for this game will be.

Expert AFL Tip: Winning Margin – Bulldogs 38+

Game 5 – Melbourne Demons vs North Melbourne Kangaroos, Saturday 29th April, 7.25pm

It's Round 7 and not 100% sure I have a read on just how good the Demons are, and this game won't help me in anyway. Demons can bully the lower teams better than anyone and I see no change to that here. Kangas started the season on a high and I genuinely thought they were a sniff against the Suns but the inconsistency of youth and gaps in quality will make for a tough watch Saturday night and all season long.

Expert AFL Tip: To Kick 3+ Goals – Bayley Fritsch

Game 6 – West Coast Eagles vs Carlton Blues, Saturday 29th April, 7.30pm

A week is a long time in football but for the Blues it took 3 weeks for the doubters to get some evidence that they weren't going that well. I still think they are thereabouts and have the quality of players to win more then they lose, it's just confidence and belief. The Eagles kids are showing some good signs and at home might scare the Blues for a while, but the quality will prevail.

Expert AFL Tip: Winning Margin – Blues 25+

Game 7 – Essendon Bombers vs Geelong Cats, Sunday 30th April, 1.10pm

The Cats are working into the season nicely and with confidence building weekly. The Bombers lost no admirers Tuesday against the Pies and looking like a totally different outfit this year. Can the Bombers backline hold up an experienced, dangerous and inform forwardline of the Cats and does the late game fade out last week affect the Bombers confidence against a very good side?

Expert AFL Tip: Total Points – Over 170.5

Game 8 – Richmond Tigers vs Gold Coast Suns, Sunday 30th April, 3.20pm

We talk about the graveyard shift and I this is it for Round 7. Not a heap of interest in this game but both teams are very much desperate for four points. The Tigers looked better on the weekend then previous weeks, and so did the Suns so it makes for an interesting game but not necessarily a match majority of AFL fans will be tuning into. Flip the coin for this one.

Expert AFL Tip: Winning Margin – Tigers 8+

Game 9 – Adelaide Crows vs Collingwood Magpies, Sunday 30th April, 4.40pm

How good is this game going to be? Usually, the 4.40pm game on a Sunday is the graveyard shift but this is probably the match of the round. Both teams flying, both teams playing aggressive football with ball in hand, it all makes for a cracking contest. Adelaide has the firepower upfront which is a huge advantage, but the Pies will not stop coming at you. Shoot out coming up.

Expert AFL Tip: Total Points – Over 170.5
