Game 1 – Collingwood Magpies vs Carlton Blues, Friday 28th July, 7.50pm
Get ready for a Friday night footy showdown as the Magpies take on the Blues in a highly anticipated clash. There is no love lost between these arch-rivals, both teams are in top form and set to dazzle before a packed crowd.
The Blues will bolster their lineup with rested players, while the Pies face tough selection decisions with talented reserves pushing for spots. It's a tantalising matchup that promises excitement and intensity. All eyes will be glued to the screen for this epic Friday night spectacle.

Game 2 – Geelong Cats vs Freemantle Dockers, Saturday 29th July, 1.45pm
In this Saturday afternoon matchup, the Dockers face a daunting task as they travel to Geelong to take on the in-form Cats, who are hungry for a finals berth. Geelong's impressive home record against interstate teams makes them clear favourites.
Fremantle, on the other hand, may focus on blooding young talents as their finals hopes are done and dusted. A straightforward victory for the Cats seems likely in this clash and maybe a little percentage booster in the process.

Game 3 – Western Bulldogs vs Greater Western Sydney Giants, Saturday 29th July, 1.45pm
In this Saturday clash, we witness one of the youngest, yet still intense, rivalries between the Bulldogs and the Giants. The Bulldogs' recent slip-ups have diminished their chances of a top-four finish, placing them back in the finals race logjam.
On the other hand, the Giants' red-hot form makes them genuine finals contenders. A tough battle lies ahead, and the midfield will be the key battleground, with Briggs vs English playing a big part in the result. If the Giants can bring their A-game, they stand a good chance of securing victory and step closer to finals.

Game 4 – Gold Coast Suns vs Brisbane Lions, Saturday 29th July, 4.35pm
In this Queensland clash, the Suns' brief resurgence following the coach's sacking was short-lived, as they returned to mediocrity last week against the Giants. Now facing the red-hot Lions, an upset seems unlikely.
Despite the Lions' victory against the Cats, they did suffer the loss of young star Will Ashcroft to a season-ending ACL injury. While a comfortable victory for the Lions is anticipated, surprises can happen in footy.

Game 5 – Essendon Bombers vs Sydney Swans, Saturday 29th July, 7.25pm
In this crucial 11th vs 12th clash, the stakes couldn't be higher as the loser's finals hopes will likely diminish. The Bombers have struggled in the past month, slipping out of the top 8, while the Swans have been quietly making their way back into contention.
Sydney appears to be a side capable of causing some damage in September, while the Bombers have been unfortunate with untimely injuries to key players. It's bound to be an intriguing battle with both teams fighting for their finals aspirations, but purely on form see Swans just getting the win.

Game 6 – Adelaide Crows vs Port Adelaide, Saturday 29th July, 7.40pm
The showdown between the Crows and Power always brings out the best in both teams, and this round is no exception. Port Adelaide would relish the opportunity to dash the Crows' finals hopes with a victory in this match up.
Although Adelaide had the upper hand earlier in the year, injuries could challenge their performance this week. Meanwhile, Port is determined to rebound after a tight loss to the Pies in the previous round. The stakes are high, and the intense rivalry guarantees an enthralling contest that fans won't want to miss.

Game 7 – Hawthorn Hawks vs St Kilda Saints, Sunday 30th July, 1.10pm
The Sunday clash between the Hawks and Saints promises to be a fascinating encounter. Hawthorn's improvement throughout the season has been evident, and they will be eager to secure more wins before it concludes.
The Saints managed a hard-fought victory against the Kangaroos last week, while the Hawks' inexperience last week six goals up cost them victory. I'm leaning towards an upset in favour of the Hawks, as they have been conducting themselves in an impressive manner and have the potential to cause a stir in this matchup.

Game 8 – Richmond Tigers vs Melbourne Demons, Sunday 30th July, 3.20pm
The clash between the Tigers and Demons on Sunday promises to be a thrilling contest with high stakes for both teams. Richmond is fighting to stay in the finals race, while Melbourne aims to secure a top-four spot and maintain their premiership credentials.
Both teams showed resilience in their narrow wins last week, and I expect another closely contested match here. It will be a battle of determination and skill, and fans can anticipate an intense and exciting showdown on the field.

Game 9 – West Coast Eagles vs North Melbourne Kangaroos, Sunday 30th July, 4.40pm
The clash between the Eagles and Kangaroos on Sunday doesn't hold much significance at all as both teams are currently sitting at the bottom of the ladder. With nothing substantial to play for, it may not attract as much attention compared to other matches with higher stakes.
However, it could still be an opportunity for both sides to showcase their young talents and build for the future. While the result may not drastically alter opinions of their respective seasons, it's a chance for players to gain valuable experience and for fans to witness some emerging stars in action.
